Pop icon Madonna has announced the dates for her upcoming “The Celebration Tour”, which will take fans on a journey through the singer’s four decades of music.
The 35-city global tour will kick off on July 15th in Vancouver, BC, and will make stops in Detroit, Chicago, New York, Miami, Los Angeles, London, Barcelona, Paris, Stockholm, and Amsterdam, before wrapping in December.
Madonna made the announcement with a cheeky video featuring some of her famous friends, including Diplo, Judd Apatow, Jack Black, Lil Wayne, Bob The Drag Queen, Kate Berlant, Larry Owens, Meg Stalter, Eric Andre, and Amy Schumer. In the video, Schumer dares Madonna to go on tour and sing all her hits, and the two end up singing a bit of Madonna’s 1987 hit “La Isla Bonita” together. “I am excited to explore as many songs as possible in hopes to give my fans the show they have been waiting for,” Madonna said in a statement.
Tickets for the tour go on sale Friday, and fans can expect to hear some of Madonna’s biggest hits.
