Chris Hemsworth, the beloved "Thor" actor, recently received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

To celebrate the occasion, his "Avengers" co-star Robert Downey Jr. hosted a public roast, adding a touch of humor to the event.

Downey asked fellow Marvel stars Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, and Chris Evans to describe Hemsworth in three words, resulting in laughter from the audience.

Renner described Hemsworth as “absurdly, annoyingly amazing,” while Ruffalo called him a “friend from work.”

Johansson humorously labeled him a “sensitive leading lady,” and Evans jokingly referred to him as the “second best Chris.

” Downey concluded with praise, calling Hemsworth a “Hollywood star recipient” who truly deserved the honor.

On a more serious note, Downey praised Hemsworth's character, calling him one of the most remarkable people he knows.

The star was awarded just before the release of Hemsworth's latest film, "Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga," which Downey eagerly anticipated, predicting it would be the film of 2024.

Downey's comments were both humorous and heartfelt. He described Hemsworth as having a contagious Aussie charm, calling him a legend with wit and depth of soul.

Downey expressed his pleasure in knowing Hemsworth and acknowledged the actor's authenticity, which keeps Hollywood on its toes.

In a Variety interview, Hemsworth shared a humorous anecdote about thinking he was receiving a star back in 2019 when the "Avengers: Endgame" cast put their handprints in cement at TCL Chinese Theater.

He admitted he initially thought it was part of the Walk of Fame honor and only realized afterward it wasn't.

Hemsworth played along during the handprint ceremony, but later asked, “So, where’s the star?” This light-hearted moment added to the charm of his recent accolade.
